We have developed one of the most successful medical collaborations in the world. With more than 100 of the world’s leading fertility specialists supported by over 1000 professional staff, we are the largest network and provider of fertility services in Australia, and have an international presence in Ireland and Singapore. An Australian success story on a global scale
Virtus Health listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in June 2013. This Initial Public Offer (IPO) made Virtus the world’s first specialist fertility treatment network to be publicly listed and was one of the most successful initial public offerings of recent times in Australia. On 21st December 2013 Virtus Health was admitted to the S&P/ASX 200 index. Virtus trades under the ticker code VRT.
Virtus Health is one of the largest integrated practices of its kind in the world. Our medical teams are highly regarded internationally for their clinical and scientific breakthroughs and expertise, and our fertility treatment programs are considered some of the safest and most successful in the world, including our pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and our fertility preservation programs.
We continue to maintain best practice care and success by facilitating our doctors, nurses and researchers involvement in international educational forums to search for ideas for continual improvement in our fertility programs as well as sharing our world-class research on the global stage.
Virtus Health provides patients with a model of healthcare that integrates high quality patient care with an extensive range of Assisted Reproductive Services, specialised diagnostics and day hospital services. Our doctors are supported by a team of medical, administrative and professional health care managers, allowing them to put all their focus on the care of their patients.
A focus on patient care and outcomes
Our network of fertility clinics along Australia’s eastern seaboard in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania, and our European Clinics Sims IVF and Rotunda IVF based in Dublin, Ireland, provide couples and individuals with the best possible chance of having a baby. We’ve spent many years researching and developing advanced treatments for infertility. We believe our clinical practice, science, technology, policies, procedures and quality management, ensure we deliver the best possible outcomes for more than 5,000 couples and single women every year. In late 2014, this expertise in fertility treatment and care was extended to patients in Singapore and South-East Asia.
Ensuring we reach those who need our help
Our services are intentionally designed to be accessible and offered in local communities. We are continuing to expand our facilities, establishing fertility clinics and services across metropolitan and regional Australia, and with the inclusion of Ireland’s leading fertility clinics Sims IVF and Rotunda IVF we are truly growing our international footprint. Our newly opened clinic in Singapore extends this access to South-East Asia. At the heart of our vision is to ensure patients can undergo fertility treatment locally. Our payment options are transparent and straightforward, designed to ensure minimal out-of-pocket costs for our patients.
Working together to provide the best outcomes
We have developed one of the most successful medical collaborations in the world. Our doctors meet regularly to compare and review results and outcomes to ensure that we remain the best in our field and meet or exceed global best practice standards. Our clinics are formally recognised by relevant national Colleges as training centres for future fertility specialists and surgeons. In Ireland, the Royal College of Surgeons recognises Sims IVF as a teaching hospital and has to date educated over 700 students, 50% of whom are from the Middle East. In Australia, the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) utilise Virtus Clinics for sub specialist fertility training, and we are committed through these training programs to making a significant contribution to the profession both now and in the years to come.
