Who we are

“Our ambition is to be the most trusted provider of Assisted Reproductive Services (ARS) based on extraordinary patient care and clinical and scientific leadership.”

The Virtus Health family: pioneering, passionate, proud

We see a future where everyone in the community has access to the opportunity to create a family.

Virtus is one of the most successful collaborations of specialist doctors in the world, with a market-leading position in Australia and Ireland and a growing presence in the UK, Denmark and Singapore.

We continuously evolve our clinical approach and service models to ensure we remain relevant to the patients we treat and the markets in which we operate, expanding our fertility, day hospital and diagnostic services to meet all patient demographics and market segments. This, combined with our significant investment in science and technologies, ensures we can deliver the highest quality of care across the full range of reproductive and fertility issues.

Where it all began.

The pathway for Virtus was paved in July 2002, when IVFAustralia was formed through the coming together of four leading Sydney-based IVF clinics. Our founding clinicians saw a growing need within the community for all fertility related medical procedures, from blood tests to day surgery, to be accessible in one convenient place. Seeing the rapid development of science and technology in IVF, they also saw the opportunity for high quality fertility services to be accessible across city, metropolitan and rural regions. It is from this vision that we have grown into a global leader in assisted reproductive services.
