The power of a shared experience

Social responsibility

We are proud partners of the documentary, Misunderstandings of Miscarriage.

The film follows Australian actress and filmmaker, Tahyna MacManus on her four-year journey of pregnancy and miscarriage, shedding light on the physical, emotional and psychological impact of miscarriage, as well as the lived experiences of a number of people in their search of support and understanding.

We chose to support the making of the documentary because we believe in the healing power of a shared experience; the only way to remove stigma from an issue is to remove the secrecy.

We want people to be fully supported and to feel safe opening up about their experience - both at home and at work. Our leadership team supports our staff as much as our patients in coping with pregnancy loss and we have updated our compassionate leave to reflect this.

Our four mini films aim to provide more understanding and awareness of miscarriage, drawing on the expertise of our people.
